UNIFIL: The VBCI Units getting trained for Landing Combat

Every 10 days, the Infantry Company units of the Force Commander Reserve (FCR) conduct a landing combat sequence, followed by live fire.

The Infantry Company units of the UNIFIL Force Commander Reserve (FCR) regularly carry out landing combat sequences and shooting tactics in the Spanish or Italian camps in Marjayoun  and Naqoura.

The exercise is divided into three sequences: after an approach phase with the VBCI, the unit makes a landing, the symbolic phase of the infantry. This phase needs to be very elaborate. The landing is followed by a tactical progression, supported by the VBCI. The unit then performs live fire by implementing procedures CSI shooting (combat shooting instruction).

These shooting sequences, the closest to reality, can strengthen the operational ability of the FCR units, both in the field of shooting or in the field of tactics.
