The usage of the M35 2½ ton cargo family of trucks in Lebanon begins in the 1950s with the Lebanese Army M34 . Since then and for six decades this family of truck rolls on Lebanese roads and represent alongside the Land Rover family and M113 family the type of military vehicles generations of Lebanese citizens grew up with.
The first part deals with the M34 truck used between the 1950s and the 1970s. The following parts will deal with the M35 cargo truck, the M35 based specialized trucks and the M621 cargo truck.
