A joint shooting exercise between Jordanian and French forces took place on the 1st and 2nd of April 2013 on the military camp of Al Humaïma, 60 km north of the port of Aqaba. The joint exercise, Mercy, put into action the entire French Army tactical group (GTE) onboard the BPC Tonnerre, 200 legionnaires and 50 vehicles, as well as two Gazelle and a Puma ALAT helicopters. The Jordanian side deployed a section of the Jordanian Armed Forces 61st Special Forces Battalion and their armored Humvees.

In the context of the United States military assistance program to Lebanon, the Lebanese Army received on February 25, 2013, 69 HMMWV from different variants. The most noticeable among them is the M1025, being new variant in use with the Lebanese Army . The LAF Humvee family is composed now of M998, M1025, M1035, M1038, M1043, M1044 and M1151 vehicles.
