Scale Modelling Day at Blast Models Paris: Emilien Pépin at work (2)

On February 11, 2012, Blast Models in Paris held a second scale modelling day animated by SteelMasters magazine contributor Emilien Pépin. The artist made a full demoof the hairspray painting techniques and answered as usual to the F.A.Q. to all modelers who assisted the gathering.

Blast Models organized yesterday in its premises in Paris a scale modelling day animated by the famous contributor to SteelMasters magazine Emilien Pépin. The artist made a full painting techniques demo emphasizing on the weathering of vehicles and answering at the same time to a large quantity of questions asked by modelers gathered around him.

LAF Combat Maneuvers in Baalbeck

In the presence of Deputy Chief of Army Staff for operations Brigadier raised thanksRefaat Shikr and a number of senior military officers and unit commanders, a live-fire exercise was held in the fields of Ramiyah-alTaybeh in the Baalbeck district by the 2nd Intervention Regiment in conjunction with units of the 6th Mechanized Brigade the Air Force,  during which the use of helicopters, explosives, firing weapons, mortars and field guns, in addition to the landings and the evacuation of wounded by air and by road from the battlefield.

Joint exercise between the Lebanese Armed Forces and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

“As part of the joint training between the LAF and the UNIFIL, and with the cooperation of the security services and a number of relevant ministries and official bodies and humanitarian organizations, in terms of remedying the damage caused by natural disasters, a joint drill was held in the city of Tyre on the  26th and 27th of February 2011. The exercise was named “United Beacon” and based on the hypothesis of an earthquake disaster and a state of humanitarian emergency.”
