More Armor to the Kingdom

The Jordanian Armed Forces took delivery in the beginning of November of a load of surplus equipment bought some times ago from the Belgian Armed Forces and the Royal Netherlands Army:

A number of ex-Dutch YPR-765 pri, YPR-765 prat, M109A2-90 and a turretless M109 for driver training soon to be incorporated to the Royal Jordanian Land Force.

A number of ex-Dutch YPR-765, M109A2-90 and DAF YA 4442 trucks soon to be incorporated to the Royal Jordanian Land Force, Aqaba Seaport.

A number of ex-Belgian FV103 Spartan APC, FV105 Sultan ACV and FV104 Samaritan MEDEVAC CVR(T) vehicles soon to be incorporated to the Royal Jordanian Land Force.

Night Maneuver

On June 27 2012, The Lebanese Armpy Maghaweer (Commado) Regiment conducted a night combat maneuver in conjunction with units of each of the Air Force and Navy, the Engineering  and the first armored regiments in the Hamat area. the scenario was to simulate an attack against an entrenched terrorist group.

The maneuver included the use of Air Force helicopters and Nave vessels for landings as well as aerial reconnaissance by the Lebanese Air Force Cessna Caravan.

SMES 2011 (1): LAF Static Display

The Security Middle East Show (SMES) in Beirut was held on the last days of November 2011. This regional homeland security exhibition hosted a number of security related companies as well as a strong sponsoring of the Lebanese Armed Forces and Internal Security Forces. The LAF participated to the events with both a static and live display. The first part will show some photos of vehicles displayed at the exhibition.
