United Beacon

Joint exercise between the Lebanese Armed Forces and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

As part of the joint training between the LAF and the UNIFIL, and with the cooperation of the security services and a number of relevant ministries and official bodies and humanitarian organizations, in terms of remedying the damage caused by natural disasters, a joint drill was held in the city of Tyre on the  26th and 27th of February 2011. The exercise was named “United Beacon” and based on the hypothesis of an earthquake disaster and a state of humanitarian emergency.”
